Liposuction is a procedure aimed at eliminating excess fat deposits on the body and face, significantly improving their contours.
The Essence of the Operation

It can be performed on areas such as the chin, cheeks, neck, shoulders, decollete area, abdomen, buttocks, hips, knees, shins, and ankles. This operation is characterized by a high level of safety and a relatively easy recovery period.

The minimum duration of the operation is 1.5 to 2 hours.
Pain Relief
The operation is performed under general anesthesia or using local anesthesia in combination with intravenous sedation.
Hospitalization
The duration of hospitalization is determined by the surgeon.

Possible Side Effects
In the first few days after surgery, the patient may need to take painkillers prescribed by the surgeon, as painful sensations are likely to occur. Bruises, swelling, and numbness may also appear in some areas of surgical intervention. It is necessary to wear special compression garments during the initial recovery period.
Risks
Risks after liposuction include the development of infection, tissue and skin necrosis, asymmetry, skin irregularities, and the formation of seromas (associated with the pathological accumulation of fluid in subcutaneous tissues).
Rehabilitation Period
Patients can return to work 1-2 weeks after liposuction. Strenuous activities are allowed 14-28 days after surgery. The final recovery and disappearance of bruises and swelling can take up to 6 months and depend on the volume of surgical intervention.
Results
The results of the operation are durable as long as the patient does not experience significant weight gain.
