The Essence of the Operation

With the use of an implant within mentoplasty, we can achieve a natural and harmonious facial appearance. The use of an individual implant, created based on the patient’s computer tomography data, allows us to meticulously plan the shape and profile of the implant in line with the desired outcome. This approach ensures high precision in achieving the planned effect.

Duration

The duration of the surgery can vary depending on the extent of the procedure, typically lasting between 1 and 2.5 hours.

Anesthesia

The operation is performed under general anesthesia.

Hospitalization

Typically, patients are required to stay in the hospital for one day following the surgery.

Individual implants, made from high-quality materials used in medicine for over 20 years, provide safety and effectiveness in the procedure. They are ideally suited for patients who are not ready for extensive surgical interventions in the maxillofacial area but wish to enhance the facial shape, correct congenital pathologies of the skull or traumatic deformations. Thanks to the individualized approach and the utilization of advanced technologies, we can provide patients with the desired outcome without the need for complex surgeries, while maintaining a high level of reliability and safety of the procedure.

Risks

Failure to follow medical recommendations can lead to various complications, including the risk of infections, nerve damage, and allergic reactions to implant materials.

Rehabilitation Period

The rehabilitation period following surgery ranges from 14 days to 1.5 months. During this time, patients must avoid intense physical activities, weightlifting, and sports. The consumption of solid foods should be limited, and sudden head movements should be avoided. Swelling and discomfort in the surgical area are common post-operative symptoms. In the initial days following the procedure, it is necessary for patients to wear a special bandage and adhere strictly to all medical advice provided by their doctor.
